About Me

My name is Flora Weideger and I'm a self taught designer from Scotland. Despite going to University with dreams of becoming a mathematician, here I am with an unused philosophy degree and the revelation that sewing is what I actually want to do with my life.

 

I would like to credit my mum for her inspiring creativity and resourcefulness. She taught me about genuine self expression and single handedly set out a framework for the kind of woman I want to be; authentic, expressive and vibrant.

Saturnine is geared towards femmes of all gender identities, ethnicities and body types. I am committed to being as sustainable as possible through sourcing second-hand fabrics and resources. My mission for this brand is to create a safe space for people to express themselves and to honour a commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices.
